Description
Delight in the bold flavors of grilled ribeye steak topped with a vibrant chimichurri sauce, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 ribeye steaks
- 1/2 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat. While the grill heats up, season the ribeye steaks generously with salt and pepper, ensuring that both sides are well-coated for flavor.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped parsley, cilantro, olive oil, red wine vinegar, minced garlic, red pepper flakes, and a pinch of salt. Stir well until all the ingredients are combined into a vibrant green sauce.
- Once the grill is hot, place the seasoned steaks on it. Sear the steaks for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare doneness. If you prefer your steak cooked longer, adjust the time accordingly. You’ll know it’s done when a delicious crust forms on the outside.
- After cooking, remove the steaks from the heat and let them rest for a few minutes. This resting period allows the juices to redistribute throughout the meat, ensuring a juicy steak. Finally, serve the steaks drizzled with the chimichurri sauce on top.
Notes
Best enjoyed immediately after cooking. Serve with roasted vegetables or a fresh green salad.
