Simple yet delightful tacos filled with tender chicken, aromatic spices, and topped with fresh ingredients.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Taco shells
  • Toppings: diced tomatoes, shredded lettuce, cheese, sour cream, cilantro

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add diced onion and minced garlic; sauté until the onion is soft and translucent.
  3. Add chicken breasts, chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper to the skillet; cook until browned on all sides.
  4. Add a splash of water, cover, and simmer for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through and tender.
  5. Remove and shred the chicken using two forks, then return to the skillet to soak up the juices.
  6. Serve warm in taco shells, topped with your preferred fresh toppings.
