Description

A comforting and aromatic chicken curry that’s simple to make and perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • Chicken (cut into pieces)
  • Onion (chopped)
  • Garlic (minced)
  • Ginger (grated)
  • Tomatoes (chopped)
  • Coconut milk
  • Curry powder
  • Cumin
  • Turmeric
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Oil
  • Cilantro (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pot over medium heat.
  2. Add onions, garlic, and ginger; sauté until onions are translucent.
  3. Stir in chopped tomatoes and cook until softened.
  4. Add curry powder, cumin, turmeric, salt, and pepper; mix well.
  5. Add chicken and cook until browned on all sides.
  6. Pour in coconut milk and simmer until chicken is cooked through.
  7. Garnish with cilantro before serving.
  8. Serve hot with rice or naan.

Notes

To store, cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for up to 3 days or freeze for 2 months.
