Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
- 1 large egg
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Ensure your butter is softened.
- Cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy (about 2-3 minutes). Add maple syrup, egg, and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Fold in the white chocolate chips.
- Drop tablespoons of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For best results, use room temperature butter and consider adding chopped nuts for extra texture.
