- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 onion, sliced
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
- 4 slices American cheese
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- Gently mix ground beef with salt, pepper, and garlic powder until just combined.
- Preheat a flat griddle or skillet, then sauté sliced onions in vegetable oil until golden and softened.
- Divide beef mixture into 8 equal portions, form into balls, then flatten on the griddle to cook as patties, adding cheese on top before flipping.
- Assemble quesadillas by layering patties, onions, and sauce between two tortillas and grilling until golden and crispy on both sides.
Notes
Allow quesadillas to rest before slicing for easier handling. Experiment with cheese and vegetables for variations.
