Cheesy Chili Crescent Roll Hot Dogs

Description

A fun and delicious twist on classic hot dogs wrapped in buttery crescent rolls, filled with chili and cheese.


Ingredients

  • 1 can of crescent roll dough
  • 1 package of hot dogs
  • 1 cup of chili
  • 1 cup of shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1 tablespoon of mustard (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil (for brushing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
  3. Place a hot dog at the wide end of each triangle. If desired, add a spoonful of chili and some cheese on top of the hot dog.
  4. Roll the hot dog in the crescent dough, starting from the wide end, making sure it’s tightly secured.
  5. Place the rolled hot dogs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
  6. Brush the tops of the rolled hot dogs with olive oil. Sprinkle with more cheese for extra flavor if desired.
  7. Bake for about 12-15 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.
  8. Serve warm with mustard or your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

For extra crunch, sprinkle breadcrumbs on top before baking. Use different types of cheese or opt for turkey or veggie hot dogs for a healthier version.
