Ingredients
Scale
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 6 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
- 1 cup sour cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped green onions for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, and place them in a baking dish.
- In a bowl, combine the ranch seasoning mix, sour cream, and half of the shredded cheddar cheese. Stir until blended.
- Spread the ranch mixture evenly over the chicken, then top with crumbled bacon and remaining cheddar cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the top is golden and bubbly. Garnish with chopped green onions if desired and serve hot.
Notes
Don’t skip seasoning the chicken; even a little salt and pepper enhances flavor. Allow the dish to rest after baking for juicier chicken.
