- 1 cup cooked macaroni
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 4 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
- 1 large onion, sliced into rings
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 cup flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix ground beef, cooked macaroni, shredded cheddar cheese, and crumbled bacon. Season with salt and pepper.
- Form the mixture into thick patties.
- Coat the sliced onion rings in flour, then dip in beaten eggs, and finally coat in breadcrumbs.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the onion rings until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes, then cook the burger patties until fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes per side.
- Assemble by placing one patty between two crispy onion rings and serve immediately.
Notes
Serve fresh with your favorite dipping sauces. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 2 days and reheat in the oven.
