- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chopped apples
- 1 cup caramel bits
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth. Beat in the eggs and vanilla until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Gradually add these dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined. Fold in the chopped apples, caramel bits, and optional nuts.
- Drop spoonfuls of cookie dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing them about two inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden. Allow to cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
