- 6–8 hard-boiled eggs, peeled
- 1 stick unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup sliced onions
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tsp garlic paste
- 1/4 cup vegetable broth
- 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
Instructions
- Boil the eggs to your desired doneness (9-12 minutes), then cool them in an ice bath, peel, and set aside.
- In a medium-sized saucepan over medium heat, melt the stick of unsalted butter, then sauté the sliced onions until soft and fragrant.
- Add the minced garlic, garlic paste, and all the seasonings. Pour in the vegetable broth and let the mixture simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Place the peeled eggs in a serving bowl and pour the hot garlic butter sauce over the eggs. Serve warm or chilled.
Notes
Can store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Keep the sauce separate for reheating.
