Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and place your cast iron skillet inside to heat up.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the cornmeal, flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine the buttermilk, sugar, melted butter, and eggs. Mix until smooth and creamy.
