Description
Delicious, crispy cauliflower bites coated in spicy buffalo sauce, perfect for a healthier alternative to traditional buffalo wings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 large head cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup milk (dairy or unsweetened plant-based)
- ½ cup buffalo hot sauce
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
- Celery sticks
- Carrot sticks
- Ranch or blue cheese dressing (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Gradually add the milk while whisking until smooth.
- Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, shaking off excess, and place them in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 15 minutes, shaking halfway through.
- In a large bowl, mix buffalo hot sauce, melted butter, and honey or maple syrup. Toss the hot cauliflower in the sauce to coat. Serve with celery, carrot sticks, and your choice of dressing.
Notes
For extra crunch, double-dip the cauliflower florets. Adjust spice levels by adding more buffalo sauce or cayenne pepper.
