Ingredients

- 1 teaspoon instant yeast
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup warm water (about 110°F/43°C)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Garlic powder (optional)
- Parmesan cheese (optional)
- Herbs (optional, like oregano or basil)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together the flour, instant yeast, sugar, and salt.
- Add the warm water and olive oil into the dry ingredients and stir until a dough begins to form.
- Knead the dough for about 5-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, until doubled in size.
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Punch down the dough and roll it out into a rectangle about 1/2 inch thick.
- Cut the dough into strips about 1 inch wide and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Sprinkle optional seasonings like garlic powder and Parmesan cheese on top.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, until golden brown.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
