Description

A quick and easy blueberry smoothie packed with flavor and nutrition, perfect for breakfast or a refreshing snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup yogurt or milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 1/2 cup ice (optional)

Instructions

  1. Gather all of your ingredients. If using fresh blueberries, rinse them under cold water. If using frozen blueberries, use them straight from the freezer.
  2. In a blender, combine the blueberries, banana, and yogurt or milk. Add honey or maple syrup for extra sweetness if desired.
  3. If you prefer a cooler smoothie, add the ice.
  4. Blend all ingredients on high until smooth, stopping to scrape down the sides if necessary.
  5. Pour the smoothie into glasses and enjoy immediately.

Notes

Serve in chilled glasses, adding whole blueberries or banana slices for presentation. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours or freeze for up to 1 month.
