Description

Deliciously creamy Blueberry Overnight Oats, perfect for a quick and nourishing breakfast any day of the week.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup milk (or any non-dairy alternative)
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt (optional)
  • 1 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl or jar, combine rolled oats, milk, Greek yogurt, honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract, and cinnamon. Stir well to ensure everything is mixed evenly.
  2. Gently fold in the blueberries. No need to thaw frozen blueberries, they will soften as the oats absorb the liquid.
  3. Cover the bowl or jar and refrigerate overnight, or let it sit in the fridge for at least 4 hours.
  4. The next morning, give the oats a stir. If too thick, add a splash more milk. Enjoy cold or heat in the microwave if preferred warm.

Notes

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Stir before serving and add a bit of milk if needed.
