Description

A delicious make-ahead breakfast combining sweet blueberries and creamy yogurt for a nutritious meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • ½ cup old-fashioned rolled oats
  • ⅓ cup Greek yogurt
  • ½ cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup (or honey)
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)
  • Optional: 2 tablespoons chopped nuts for topping

Instructions

  1. In a mason jar or an airtight container, mix together the rolled oats and chia seeds.
  2. Pour in the milk, Greek yogurt, maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Stir until well combined.
  3. Layer in the blueberries or fold them into the mixture.
  4. Seal the container tightly and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or ideally overnight.
  5. When ready to serve, stir the mixture and top with additional blueberries or chopped nuts.

Notes

Use old-fashioned rolled oats for the best texture; quick oats may become mushy. For a dairy-free option, use coconut yogurt and almond or oat milk.
