Description

A delightful dessert combining fresh blueberries with a buttery oat topping.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh blueberries
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine the fresh blueberries with 1/4 cup of brown sugar, tossing to coat. Pour into a baking dish.
  3. In another bowl, stir together rolled oats, remaining brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, and salt. Pour in melted butter and mix until crumbly.
  4. Sprinkle topping over blueberries. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
  5. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For a delicious twist, serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
