- 4 whole wheat tortillas
- 1 cup blueberries
- 4 slices turkey bacon
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon butter
Instructions
- Cook the turkey bacon in a skillet over medium heat for 5-7 minutes until crispy. Set aside on paper towels.
- Melt butter in the same skillet over medium heat.
- Assemble the quesadilla: place one tortilla in the skillet, sprinkle half of the cheese, add half of the blueberries and crumbled bacon, then top with the remaining cheese. Cover with another tortilla.
- Cook for 3-4 minutes until golden brown on the bottom. Carefully flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes until both sides are golden and cheese is melted.
- Slice the quesadillas into wedges and drizzle with honey before serving.
Notes
For added flavor, try different cheeses or add spices like cinnamon. Serve with fresh fruit or yogurt.
