Description

A delightful and nutritious start to your day with the sweetness of blueberries and savory turkey bacon, all enveloped in crispy whole wheat tortillas.


Ingredients

  • 4 whole wheat tortillas
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Instructions

  1. Cook the turkey bacon in a skillet over medium heat for 5-7 minutes until crispy. Set aside on paper towels.
  2. Melt butter in the same skillet over medium heat.
  3. Assemble the quesadilla: place one tortilla in the skillet, sprinkle half of the cheese, add half of the blueberries and crumbled bacon, then top with the remaining cheese. Cover with another tortilla.
  4. Cook for 3-4 minutes until golden brown on the bottom. Carefully flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes until both sides are golden and cheese is melted.
  5. Slice the quesadillas into wedges and drizzle with honey before serving.

Notes

For added flavor, try different cheeses or add spices like cinnamon. Serve with fresh fruit or yogurt.
