Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup blue raspberry puree
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
- Combine blue raspberry puree, heavy cream, whole milk, sugar, vanilla extract, salt, and lemon juice in a mixing bowl. Whisk until well combined and the sugar is dissolved.
- Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn until it reaches a soft-serve consistency, about 20 to 25 minutes.
- Transfer the ice cream to a lidded container to prevent ice crystals from forming. Freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm.
- Scoop into bowls or cones and enjoy, either on its own or with fresh fruit.
Notes
Serve with colorful toppings like whipped cream or fruit. For best results, let the ice cream sit at room temperature for a few minutes before scooping.
