Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 packet (2 1/4 teaspoons) instant yeast
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup Biscoff cookie butter
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar (for icing)
  • 1 tablespoon milk (for icing)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together the flour, granulated sugar, instant yeast, and salt.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine the warm milk, melted butter, and egg.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until well combined; knead for about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Let the dough rise in a warm place for about an hour.
  5. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C); punch down the risen dough and roll it out into a rectangle.
  6. Spread Biscoff cookie butter over the dough and sprinkle with ground cinnamon.
  7. Roll the dough tightly into a log and cut into 12 equal pieces.
  8. Place the rolls in a greased baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Mix powdered sugar and milk to create icing; drizzle over slightly cooled rolls.

Notes

These rolls are best enjoyed warm, straight from the oven. They can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days at room temperature.
