A comforting, hearty dish that combines tender beef with rich flavors, effortlessly simmered in a slow cooker.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs beef chuck roast
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Place the sliced onion and minced garlic at the bottom of the slow cooker.
  2. Season the beef chuck roast generously with salt and pepper, then place it on top of the onions.
  3. Mix together beef broth, diced tomatoes, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, and oregano, then pour over the beef.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or on high for 4 hours until the beef is tender.
  5. Shred the beef with two forks and mix it back into the sauce.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
