Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and baking powder until well combined.
- Cream together the softened butter and sugar until smooth and fluffy.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well blended.
- Gradually blend the dry ingredients into the creamed mixture until just combined.
- Roll rounded teaspoonfuls of dough into balls and arrange them on ungreased cookie sheets.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 8 to 10 minutes, or until the edges are golden.
- Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
- Once cooled, decorate with your choice of sprinkles or chocolate chips.
