A comforting, delicious dish combining fresh tomatoes, aromatic basil, and melted cheese, perfect for family dinners or gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups diced tomatoes
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine diced tomatoes, minced garlic, olive oil, chopped basil, dried oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  3. In a baking dish, layer half of the tomato mixture, followed by half of the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  4. Add the remaining tomato mixture on top, followed by the remaining cheese. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  5. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
