Description

A savory fried rice dish that combines tender chicken, fragrant vegetables, and fluffy rice, inspired by the popular Bang Bang shrimp appetizer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1/2 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1/2 cup mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, bell peppers)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Stir in the mixed vegetables and cook until they are tender, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Push the vegetables to one side and pour in the beaten egg. Scramble until fully cooked, then mix with the vegetables.
  5. Add the shredded chicken, cooked rice, soy sauce, and sriracha sauce.
  6. Stir-fry everything together for 3-5 minutes until heated through.
  7. Add chopped green onions and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

Use day-old rice for best results, and customize vegetables based on availability. Adjust sriracha for your spice preference.
