- 3 ripe bananas
- 200g dark chocolate
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a cake pan with parchment paper.
- Melt the dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl over simmering water until smooth.
- Mash the ripe bananas in a mixing bowl until smooth.
- Whisk together the eggs and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Stir the melted chocolate, mashed bananas, vanilla extract, and salt into the egg mixture until well combined.
- Fold the whipped cream into the chocolate mixture gently.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared cake pan and bake for 25-30 minutes, until set.
- Cool completely before removing from the pan.
- Enjoy the cake plain or with whipped cream or cocoa powder.
Notes
Use very ripe bananas for maximum sweetness and flavor. Avoid overbaking.
