Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mash the bananas in a large bowl until smooth.
  3. Mix in softened butter, brown sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together baking soda, salt, and flour.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture, mixing until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips gently.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet with space between each.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are golden brown.
  9. Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
