Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mash the bananas in a large bowl until smooth.
- Mix in softened butter, brown sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together baking soda, salt, and flour.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips gently.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet with space between each.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are golden brown.
- Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
