Description

A delightful dish combining the rich flavor of balsamic vinegar with fresh basil. Perfect for busy weeknights or special occasions.


Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together the balsamic vinegar, olive oil, chopped basil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
  2. Place the chicken breasts in a resealable bag and pour the marinade over the chicken. Seal the bag tightly and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Remove the chicken from the marinade and grill for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.
  4. Serve warm, garnished with additional basil if desired.

Notes

Make the marinade ahead of time for more flavor. Can substitute chicken thighs and use different herbs.
