Description

A delightful dessert bringing together sweet, juicy pears and a crunchy almond topping, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 4 ripe pears, peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup almond meal
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup sliced almonds

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine sliced pears with half of the brown sugar and the cinnamon in a mixing bowl.
  3. Spread the pear mixture evenly in a greased baking dish.
  4. Mix the almond meal, rolled oats, remaining brown sugar, melted butter, salt, and sliced almonds until crumbly.
  5. Sprinkle the crumble mixture evenly over the pears.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until the topping is golden brown.
  7. Serve warm, optionally with ice cream or whipped cream.

Notes

Use ripe pears for better flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
