Description

A comforting casserole combining creamy cheese, hearty spaghetti, and rich marinara sauce, perfect for family meals and gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 8 ounces spaghetti
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 pound ground beef or Italian sausage (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the cream cheese, sour cream, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. If using meat, cook the ground beef or sausage in a skillet until browned, then drain and add it to the mixture. Stir the cooked spaghetti into the cream cheese mixture until evenly coated.
  4. Fold in the marinara sauce along with half of the shredded mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and sprinkle the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses on top.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown. Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For a lighter version, use low-fat cream cheese and sour cream. You can also add vegetables or switch up the cheese for variations.
