Ingredients

  • 1 wheel of Brie cheese
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce
  • 1 sheet of puff pastry
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Optional: chopped nuts (like pecans or walnuts)
  • Optional: fresh herbs (like thyme or rosemary)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface.
  3. Place the wheel of Brie in the center of the pastry.
  4. Spoon cranberry sauce over the top of the Brie, adding nuts and herbs if desired.
  5. Carefully fold the pastry over the Brie and seal well.
  6. Brush the pastry with the beaten egg.
  7. Bake for about 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving warm with crackers or baguette.

Notes
