- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
Instructions
- Place the avocado, cottage cheese, lemon juice, and minced garlic into a food processor or blender.
- Process the mixture until completely smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as necessary.
- Add the fresh chives, black pepper, and sea salt, then pulse briefly to incorporate evenly.
- Taste and adjust seasoning by adding more lemon juice or salt if preferred. For a spicier variation, blend in crushed red pepper flakes. For additional richness, drizzle in olive oil and blend again. Transfer to a serving bowl and garnish with extra chives or a drizzle of olive oil if desired.
