Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups apricots, pitted and chopped
  • 2 cups crushed pineapple (with juice)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 package fruit pectin (optional, for thicker jam)

Instructions

  1. Start by pitting and chopping the apricots. Measure out all ingredients and gather your equipment.
  2. In a large pot, combine chopped apricots and crushed pineapple including its juice.
  3. Sprinkle the sugar and lemon juice into the pot, stirring until combined. Heat over medium heat until boiling.
  4. Once boiling, cook for about 10-15 minutes. Check consistency and pour into sterilized jars.

Notes

Store in the refrigerator for up to a month, or process jars for longer storage. Experiment with spices for unique flavors.
