Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Sliced almonds for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the egg, vanilla extract, and almond extract until well integrated.
  4. Whisk together the almond flour, all-purpose flour, and salt in another bowl.
  5. Gradually stir the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until well combined.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Press a sliced almond on top of each cookie.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until edges are lightly golden.
