Description

Delightful air fryer pizza rolls that capture all your favorite pizza flavors in a quick and easy, bite-sized form with a crispy exterior and gooey filling.


Ingredients

  • 1 package refrigerated pizza dough (14 oz)
  • All-purpose flour, for dusting
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup mini pepperoni slices (optional, or substitute with diced bell peppers)
  • 4 tablespoons pizza sauce
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ teaspoon dried Italian herbs (oregano, basil, or mixed)
  • 1 egg, beaten (for sealing and brushing)
  • Cooking spray or olive oil spray
  • Extra pizza sauce, for dipping

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F for 5 minutes.
  2. Lightly flour a clean surface and roll out the pizza dough into a 12 x 10 inch rectangle.
  3. Spread pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a ½ inch border around the edges.
  4. Evenly sprinkle mozzarella, Parmesan, pepperoni (or vegetables), and Italian herbs over the sauce.
  5. Starting from a long edge, tightly roll the dough into a log and pinch the seam to seal. Cut the log into 24 even pieces.
  6. Brush the cut sides of each roll with beaten egg. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray or olive oil.
  7. Place the rolls in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 8 to 10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown.
  8. Allow the pizza rolls to cool for 2 to 3 minutes before serving with extra pizza sauce.

Notes

Serve warm with a side of extra pizza sauce for dipping. Stores well in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
