A guilt-free appetizer that captures the bold flavors of buffalo wings in a crispy cauliflower bite.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 medium head of cauliflower – cut into bite-sized florets
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 3/4 cup buffalo sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter – melted
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preparation: Cut the cauliflower into bite-sized florets, ensuring they are uniform in size for even cooking.
  2. Mixing: In a bowl, whisk together the flour, water, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Cooking: Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Spray the basket with cooking spray, add battered cauliflower in batches, and air fry for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Finishing: Mix buffalo sauce with melted butter. Toss the cooked cauliflower in the sauce until evenly coated.

Notes

Serve immediately with dipping sauce like ranch or blue cheese, and fresh celery sticks. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
